A short best-of inbetween

Due to internet connection problems and dancing lessons I’m not playing at this time, however there’s a lot of reading from all those feeds out there, and I felt like sharing my favorite posts with you guys.

Best-Of recent blog fodder

  • The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Expertise and hit in WoTLK
A good article for all of you who aren’t yet into the theory behind expertise and hit. The great thing about this post is that it’s in-depth enough to get a solid idea, but it doesn’t go all down the math and statistics road. If you have a fellow, fresh tank you want to introduce to the topic, this is your post.
  • The Silent Bob approach to group management
An interesting idea to calm yor nerves in PuGs, and a solid funny read, too.
  • The tank-dps divide
Why the tanking community seems to be a lot community-isher (wtf?) than the regular stuff going on around WoW, with people screaching for nerfs and QQing and all that is what’s the topic of this post. Interesting.
  • Glyphs in WotLK, in action
A good and compact post about our glyphs, and how they perform in action. If you’re not all down with glyphs yet, this might just be the kick-off you need to get into them.
  • 1001 Uses for Intervene
The title says it all: One of the most under-used abilities (I’m just as guilty of that as the next tank) is brought to the spotlight and proven to have it’s uses. If you’re the ”uhm, where did I put intervene?” kind of tank do yourself something good and read this post.
  • Beginning Your Tanking Career, Heroic Gear
Probably the best and most compact heroic tanking gear list. This post is all you need.
  • WoW vs. Real Life.
Made my day! And the best: After all the fun it’s also got a solid and good conclusion.
