On saturday we got as far as to Hodir, and on the last attempt finally downed Mr. “thrust-polish-and-blow-my-stuff”. Or, rather, freed him from Yoggi’s influence. He was gone before we got a screenshot. And then the chest despawned before we got a screenshot. So what we have is a screenshot in front of a white snow wall. Uhm, I digress. Here’s how to learn the Hodir-fight and kill him on the first night in.

The so-called “endgame” can be take on many a form. For some it’s raiding, for others it’s fishing on their level 37 toon, some collect pets and mounts, others max out reputations, reach for the gold limit or PvP the hell out of those arenas. In this series of posts I want to rank and then have a look at the raids I’ve experienced.

I have been complaining about our guilds raid progress ever since WotLK launched. I found people to be sloppy, slacking around and not giving a damn about Naxxramas other than “I want to be in the raids”. Now there’s Ulduar and everything is different.
