In the last two months, after the initial WotLK-hype vanished, warrior tanking instantaneously went from “hot topic” to “silent mode”. The blogging scene paints a clear picture here: Even the most insightful and highest-quality blogs seem to struggle with the quest of finding valuable content to post, interesting stuff to talk about.
A raid’s motivation most of the time is a fragile thing that may rise or drop at any time. Usually it’s based on how encounters go, and thus on progression raids can be a real problem some times. But there’s always a booster, and nothing gets your raid up and running as well as a clean, smooth kill.
In the eight, and last, part of my raid-ranking-series (up to Ulduar) I’ll explain why Karazhan made the top spot.
In the seventh part of my raid-ranking-series (up to Ulduar) we’re going back to vanilla again. Molten Core was tier 1,and to spice things up a little when you had that MC gear there came the first troll-lore raid: Zul Gurub. This place rocks, and claims my personal rank 2.
In the fith part of my raid-ranking-series (up to Ulduar) my way once again leads back in time. We’ve seen UBRS as one of the blackrock instances, and now with Molten Core there’s another challenge in that mountain to be reviewed onto rank 3.
Block, block, block. Last week I got my T8 leg token. I still haven’t purchased tanking pants for it though, because of the ridiculous itemization. Block? Are you kidding? Looking over T8 right now the future isn’t shiny at all, and I’d much rather wear a DK set. But there may be light at the end of the tunnel and my token just might not end up being turned in for the off-legpiece …
