Seriously, I don’t thik anyone who raids SSC will need to worry about his defense rating more than to bring one or two Lion’s Eyes in :)

Get Scarab of Displacement trinket from Hydross.

Equip : +42 defense
Use : +165 Defense for 15sec (-330 AP)

the easiest route – which I have taken – is to replace some stamina gems with defense gems, and, if necessary, wear the Adamantine Figurine again.

Well this list really solely aims at getting you to 490 defense for the next four weeks. Once WotLK hits it can be interesting on every level you gain, if you find yourself lacking some defense and need an easy-to-pickup item quickly. But I guess as of 83-85 this list really becomes quite useless :)

Thanks for the list of gear.

Like many tanks out there, I’m struggling with what to do now that 3.0.2 is here, what to do when WotLK hits and my focus moves to leveling and then what to do at 80. In your opinion, your list would apply to what stage?
